Summer 10

Nobody can feel what I am feeling right now! Yay. Its summer time! Gosh, its almost Bella's birthday. I cannot imagine this. Bella will be one year old in five weeks. :)

I am excited for the summer because we are going to do so many things. I'm going to get my vacation, the family and I are going to Kalahari resort in wisconsin, and Glen will be here for few weeks. Though, I won't be home most of the days he's here, he can take care of bella.

Anyway, for our Kalahari trip, I already booked for 3nights and 4 days. In a cabin. Expensive, but its bella's birthday. Haha. Everybody will be there, so, its gona be a party. Oh whatta June!

U-HAULLLLL service

Lately, I feel like a U-haul service. I swear.
We moved out of the townhouse that we rented. And found a 3-bedroom apartment. I actually had to take two days off work to get Bella and my stuff to the apartment. And guess what? I haven't even unpacked all of our stuff from tons of boxes, my mom called me one afternoon at work and said that she found a house. A house to buy. Are you kidding? So, i saw the house after work, at TEN pm, and it looked cozy for me. I like it. So, after bringing all our stuff to the apartment, last weekend, we had to move eveyrything again to the house. YAY and this time, i told mom that this is going to be permanent and she agreed.

Wow, that's the reason why i havent really post anything and add pictures yet. Because of this mad-house movement. :)

the most talked about.

LOVE.

I think this is the most talked about everyday, 24/7, 365 days.
Love is all around us. Doesn't matter if its love for a person, animal, nature etc. it is still complicated one way or the other.

My definition of love? Love is when you take out the passion, and desire & you are left with trust, understanding and God. That is real love.

Love is never about how good he looks. How smart he is. How athletic he is. How rich he is. His coolness factor doesn't count when talking about love. That's just admiration.

Love is when it's okay not to txt him every 5 mins. Everybody needs to understand this part... You have to be comfortable with him. Trust him that he is where he says he is. Don't keep waiting for his text or calls. He might be busy doing something important. Don't stop your world just because he's not there. Don't depend on him to be there all the time because, trust me, at some point, he's not going to be there for you. Plain truth. Make your own decisions. And here is the main point about love: It is a two-way street. Both of you needs to put a little bit of effort. 50/50. Don't give 90, while he gives 10. Equilibrium. Balance. Make him understand.

And when you are comfortable with him, thats when you can say you're in love.

p.s. Those are the things that I have experienced. :)

pilipinas, game ka na ba?

I was downstairs with Bella, watching TFC. A preview of Boy Abunda's show came up with the title, " BOTTOM LINE ". He said something like, Ready na ba ang Pilipinas na magkaroon ng gay marriage?

In my opinion, Philippines is not ready for gay marriages. First off, majority of Filipinos are Roman Catholic and gay marriages are not accepted. Second of all, Filipinos tends to scrutinize other people's lives than their own. Third, chismoso ang mga Pinoy. Thats the truth. Truth hurts, i know. But here's my advice: What other people thinks about you is none of your business. Fourth, we discriminate people who don't "belong". We talk behind their backs. We laugh at them.

See how immature we are? Yes, i know. That is why I think it would a circus if ever gay marriages happens to be approve in the Philippines. Ganyan kaliit ang mga utak ng ibang mga Pilipino.

And disclaimer.
I am not talking about ALL Filipinos. I am just saying the truth based on what I see, hear and know. I've been in the Philippines long enough to know how it all works and trust me, I know na masaya ang mga tsismosa sa kanto if ever na ma-approve ang gay marriage sa Pilipinas. They will have alot of things to talk about. Low-lifes.

Anyway, this entry is entirely my opinion. Not bias. Just the plain truth.
Good day and have an amazing day everyone.

a little girls' nightmare

This is a very sad story that I am about to narrate. True story. Happening right now.

My mom has a friend and co-worker name Jen. Jen has two kids. One is 2 years old and the other is 18 months old. Jen and her two kids were home & she went outside for a smoke, i guess. The 2 years-old kid turned on the hot water in the bath tub and the 18 months old kid jumped in! So, they had to rush the 18months old to the OR... The doctors did sooo much test and whatnot and now, my mom just found out that the best thing to do is to amputate her foot. Her foot suffered from severe burn. 3 degree burn. So', can you imagine yourself encoutering such experience and pain? If they dont amputate her foot now, it will get worst because there is no more circulation there. Before it starts to affect her whole legs, the doctors are advising the family to decide what to do now than later.

When my mom told me about this....I almost cried for the baby and the mother. I cannot imagine what I would do if Bella goes through that nightmare. I mean, think about it.... she's only 18 months old... she still has the rest of her life!

Anyhow, please do include this baby in your prayers tonight. She needs it. Thank you guys in advance. :)

sweet home

I am finally home. Someone wise once told me that "you will never know the meaning of home until you go out into the world." Well, guess what? I do know now. Its a crazy thing. I mean, I love california because glen is over there and he taught me so much when it comes to our relationship...but being home, in my own bed, with Bella next to me....it feels incredible.

When I was in Cali, glen and I, all we did was laugh and laugh, and more laughter. He makes fun of me and I make fun of him. He's an amazing man....and I got real lucky. I keep telling that to everybody because he is a fantastic man. God gave me the best man. He taught me that in our relationship, we have to stop thinking about ourseleves and think about the family. We have the rest of our lifetime to spend it together. That's what he told me. And it was very well said, I know he's honest with me.

Anyhow, these are the pics taken in California:

Leaving Chicago.
